Concept:
Wi-Fi, 4G and Bluetooth are examples of wireless technologies that are continuously connecting our devices. These perpetual attempts at connectivity mean that the devices we carry are always shouting to each other in silence, without human intervention. Silent Shouting Devices makes this audible.
The installation:
A Faraday cage blocks all radio signals. Inside, ultrasonic sensors pick up the signals emitted by the visitor's own devices and convert them into sound. Step inside and hear what your phone has been saying without you.
